Our aims are:
- To ensure that anyone who identifies as Jewish and is in hospital can, if they so wish, be visited by either a Jewish Chaplain (Rabbi or Rebbetzin) or a Jewish Visitor (a trained volunteer). The patient can be a member of any synagogue or none and our chaplains and visitors come from all parts of the Jewish community.
- To assist staff responsible for caring for Jewish patients by providing information on Jewish religious and cultural practices.
